Bobbi Brown Pink Quartz Shimmer Brick!

Bonjour/Bonsoir!

Time for a new post :)

Today I'm introducing you to a magnificent multitasking Shimmer Brick:
the Bobbi Brown Pink Quartz Shimmer Brick!

What Bobbi Brown says about it:

This shimmering, brush-on powder creates a soft, warm pink glow. Works well with neutral and pink blush shades.
To apply: Sweep the Face Blender Brush through all five shades of Shimmer Brick Compact and dust lightly on cheekbones after blush. Focus on applying shimmer on the top of cheekbones - where light naturally hits the face - for the most flattering look.

This is the first shimmer brick I have bought and the first product I have from Bobbi Brown. It gives a very subtle glow to my cheekbones. It looks great on fairer skintones.  I like how you can use the stripes individually as eyeshadows or to highlight smaller areas. It takes a small amount of this to create such a lovely effect. I would be tempted by some of the other colors if they weren't so pricey! It costs about 45€ in Europe, but it's worth every single €. I use this product almost everyday, it has become my favorite blush too and it feels like it last forever. I bought it beginning Mars and it looks like almost not used :D
Unfortuantely I can't get it here in Luxembourg, I had to drive to Germany -.-

1st color is a very soft pink highlighter color (the lightest of the brick), 2nd color (darkest color of the brick) is a shimmery brown, 3rd color is a greyish-pink color, 4th color is a pink (a bit matter color comparing to the other), and the 5th color is a pinky-brown color!

SWATCHES:

Without flash, from L to R: beginning with the lightes color!

 With flash! Same order!

As a my camera probably can't show you the real beauty of these colors, I found this great swatch :D

And that's what the colors look like on my lid and on my cheek:

I recommend using them as eyeshadows if you want to create a decent look, like a no-makeup-makeup look ;)

I used the 5th color on the whole lid, the 2nd color (the brown) as eye liner, the 1st color in the inner corner of the lid and right under my eyes as highlighter AND all the colors mixed together as blush on my cheeks ^^

I love applying the highlighter color with a fan brush under my eyes. It gives a fresh look but not too shimmery (although it reflect a lot on the picture above, it's not that simmery)

Thanks for your visit :)

Read you soon again!

NOTD - Louboutin nails!

Howdy Hoo!

LOUBOUTIN NAILS!!!!

Louboutin? If you don't know what Louboutin shoes are, then you probably don't deserve the name fashionista. I guess everybody heard of these shoes until now, and whole Hollywood, Paris, London… is wearing them.

So this post is related to the black shoes with a red sole:

I guess these are Louboutins everybody can afford ;)

And here is what it turned out on my nails:

I used artificial fingernails by Konad that I adapted to the size I wanted, then I used red nai polish and colored the tips of the bottom, after the second red coat dried, I glued them on my nails and put on 2 black coats and the Seche Vite top coat! ^^

Red baby RED!!!!! :)

Isn't it a bit weird to see colored under nails? But funny thought and a nice and cool idea. The only thing that disappointed me was that nobody noticed my amazing Louboutin nails until I showed them xD but then the reactions were really awesome and people immediately asked how I did that and where I got the idea from ;)

Polishes used:
From L to R: H&M Black, H&M Red & Seche Vite top coat

Btw Seche Vite is the probably the best top coat out there, if you find a better one tell me but I'm so in love with these, that I don't use any other at all, anymore.

Sincerely,

IrSaDa

My Primark/Saarbrücken trip!

Welcome back,

I was yesterday in Saarbrücken (Germany) and this is my report :)

I saw these beautiful Micheal Kors watches at a gallery and made some pics for you. I found it so hard to choose only one of these beautiful watches. I still haven't made my mind about which one  to choose…

And this felt like the perfect O.P.I. paradise O.O It was hard to get me away from there lol

And here comes the intersting part.

This is the Primark in Saarbrücken!!! 3 floors of paradise :D

I didn't make pictures  from the store inside, as that would have taken a few days. It's so big in there and you don't know where to start! But I did some of the shoe department, or at least of the highheels departement :P lol

And I also made some pics from the shoes I tried :)

These purple shoes were love on the first sight, I saw them already from the escalator and they were on sale from 19€ to 9€ =.=

Some other pruple shoes, been looking for a long time to find purple shoes, at Primark you will find shoes in EVERY color, that's for sure!

These were pretty too but I didn't like the quality of these and I only needed one pair of purple shoes!

These were very cool, but it took me a life time to get into them and they weren't very uncomfortable -.-

I wish they had them in my size but unfortunately they were one size to big, otherwise I would have bought them immediately :(

These were catching my eyes directly!!! Couldn't resist... althought I probably don't have any clothes yet that could fit withe these LOL

I liked these a lot too, also available in pink :)

Back home:

As you can see the big bag didn't survive it. Guess I bought to much HEHEEE

My haul:

The shoes I decided to buy!!!!

I also got these two bags, one in black and one in coral/red.

The new Jil Sander Eve parfume (limited edition package):

Got some basic Primark tees, as people claim that they are great and you can never have enough basic shirts ;)

My new chains:

Bracelets:

Ring:

Scarfs:

New nail polishes:

I got my hands on the OPI New York City Ballet Minis heheeee I think this will be a pretty good next giveaway :)

And last but not least I bought this handbag tidy, that's going to ensure that there will be no chaos in my bags anymore, at least in the big bags ;P

So that's is with my report/post! Promised!

Thanks for your attention!!!

NOTD - Minted nails

Welcome back!

Today I'm showing you the nail color I was wearing in my "Crazy inspired look from the Beth Ditto MAC Cosmetics Collection!"

I think this is a really beautiful pastel color, especially for this summer. It looks fresh to me but also sweet.

This is my new Swatch ring I got a few days ago :D also available in 3 other colors. Love that new Swatch collection!!!
Kind of fits great with this nail color!

But back to the nail polish! We are talking about the Manhattan Lotus Effect Longlasting nail polish in #81R!!!!!

Without flash and with flash:

All I can say is that I love the brush of this polish, it's opaque after 2 coats and it lasts also long as promised ;)

Read you soon,
